Osage Nation Campus Master Plan and Phase 1 Design

Preserving History of Place

The Osage Reservation is in Northeast Oklahoma, with its rolling hills, forests and open tallgrass prairies, is home to white-tailed deer, coyotes, bobcats, more than 300 species of birds and even free-roaming bison.

The Master Plan and Phase 1 Design were developed through listening sessions and participatory exercises with the Osage community. It integrates land, water and views of nature with new campus structures and site features to emphasize the cultural and natural history of the place. It weaves Osage culture of the past, present and future into site planning, linking Osage cosmology into the places, buildings and interiors.
