Denver Blueprint Plan
Denver is a great place to live and work—it’s right in the mountains, encourages active outdoor lifestyles, has phenomenal restaurants and diverse neighborhoods and cultural experiences. Blueprint Denver will help the community respond to an expected 150,000 new residents, new regional rail, the legalization of marijuana, new technology and growing concerns about affordability.
The plan will direct how the city evolves, ensuring that Denver neighborhoods feel and function in ways that makes life better and more enjoyable for those who live and work there. It will balance growth, land use, multimodal transportation, equity and sustainability, embracing technology and determining key regulatory improvements, policy strategies and initiatives, as well as measurable and achievable metrics for gauging progress. Plan adoption is anticipated to be winter 2018.
