Kalmanovitz Child Development Center of Sutter Health, California Pacific Medical Center Strategic Planning

Facing growing needs, long waitlists, and a shifting post-pandemic environment, the Kalmanovitz Child Development Center needed a new three-year strategic plan. Part of the California Pacific Medical Center, it provides comprehensive developmental assessment and treatment programs for infants, preschoolers, school-age children and adolescents who manifest developmental delays or differences.

We helped the Center identify key strategic questions and challenges, and facilitated an intense and passionate planning retreat with leadership.

The new strategic plan lays out the Center’s direction over the next three years, including a phasing plan and key performance indicators. It reflects the Center’s unique strengths, addresses critical challenges, and leverages opportunities in the post-pandemic era. The concise and coherent plan for the future was approved by its statewide parent, Sutter Health, and resulted in funding allocations for several critically needed staff positions.
