3C-REN Branding and Marketing Kit
Fire!! From caveman to celebrity chefs, we’ve insisted on fire to roast our meats and cook our foods. But residents in California’s Tri-County area who are thinking about switching to electric, can now borrow single-burner induction cooktops to try it before they buy it.
That’s thanks to the 3C-REN (Tri-County Regional Energy Network) partnership established to deliver energy-saving programs and industry trainings that reduce energy use, strengthen local job markets and support efforts to achieve climate goals.
For households, 3C-REN offers direct energy-saving opportunities, with an emphasis on hard-to-reach and underserved communities. Like the cooktops, DIY energy-saving toolkits (complete with tools and supplies!), connections with trained participating contractors, total nerd-out information and educational events. For industry, 3C-REN offers capacity-building services including workforce training and technical code support.
The overarching brand includes sub-brands for the three major programs (residential, workforce development and codes&standards). The visual identity includes a color palette and graphic elements that reflect the diverse community; brand guidelines for staff and third-party implementers; templates for flyers, newsletters and emails; a program website; and a “jumpstart” marketing strategy to launch 3C-REN to the public.
