Dakota Pacific Mixed-Use Development
A New Future for New Needs
A “coming soon” research park languished for 10 years near Park City. There had to be a better way to serve the needs of Summit County and the Snyderville Basin. Dakota Pacific acquired the 60+/- acres in 2018 and MIG helped them develop an entirely new development concept.
Beginning with on-the-ground site photography, then synchronized drone flight paths, the numerous visualizations illustrated what the site could be as a vibrant, mixed-use community—with everything from civic and hospitality uses to residential and retail components, also exploring community gardens and large community plazas. The entire building program was centered on new amenities to serve the larger Kimball Junction community.
