Hands On Children’s Museum
It just might not be possible to experience all of the fun in this children’s museum in one go. It’s 150 hands-on exhibits in 10 indoor spaces covering 9,000 square feet and ½ acre more outdoors. Exhibits enhance visitors’ sense of place (the Pacific Northwest), providing open-ended, playful and nature-based learning opportunities. Children learn in spite of themselves.
Children from under a year to age 10 will find exhibits in which to Build It and Move It, zoom on trike loops, wander in gardens and the Puget Sound Beach, experience a Fabulous Forest, head up the Tree Climber to the second floor and zip back down on the Stream Slide. There’s a Snug Harbor, a safe landing for kids four and under. And it’s all done in a LEED Gold facility, created by architects Miller | Hull.
This is many visits worth of wonder, exploration, learning, discovery and—most of all—fun!
