When you build a 1.6 million-square-foot industrial distribution warehouse project you can expect complex issues. We helped Goodman Birtcher, one of the world’s largest industrial property groups, work with the City to clear all hurdles. The warehouse replaced an existing concrete pipe manufacturing facility at a significant intersection in the City, providing much-needed infrastructure improvements. In addition to processing the entitlements and environmental clearance through the very exacting City requirements, we assisted in working through complex traffic/circulation issues, installing a master storm drain line, avoiding impacts to a major, existing Metropolitan Water District pipe/easement, and accommodating a future railroad overcrossing. We helped increase understanding of the project and fostered approval.
